Eligibility & Teams
Who can participate in the AIXelerate Build Sprint?
The event is open to middle and high school students (roughly grades 6–12, ages 11–18). No prior coding or AI experience is required — beginners are welcome and encouraged.
Can I compete alone, or do I need a team?
Either works. You can register solo and we'll help you find teammates at kickoff, or register with a team of up to 4 people already formed.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. The AIXelerate Challenge and the Build Sprint are completely free to attend.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not at all. Students can contribute through research, design, product thinking, presentation, or community insight — not just implementation.
